We would like to invite your ideas for 2009 season. This competition is open to all — anyone from anywhere can participate.

The participants need to submit their own unique and innovate ideas that can be developed into any of the following categories:

Research

Your idea research and back up of your idea expressed in words, diagrams, sketch, etc.

Concept

Your idea concept explained with details of how the product works and for whom the product may be purchased by or for.

Your file size should not exceed more than 1 MB.

Where to Submit?

You need to submit the entries here by 31st January 2009.

Prize money

The winners will be awarded with a cash prize of US$1000. And royalty fee of 1% on retail revenue of the product sold in the first year. How much is that?

Our average new products sell about 200,000 units a year. If your product sells for US$20 retail with 200,000 units sold for the year, then you have potential to earn 200,000*$20*1% = $40,000+/-

Terms and Conditions

1. No entry fee is required to participate in this competition.
2. Multiple entries are accepted per participant.
3. No age restriction.
4. The winner will be selected by Bluw management and independent adjudicator.
5. Prize money of $1,000 will be paid before 20th of December.
6. Royalty fee will be entered as an agreement with the company. Royalty fee will be paid to you every 3 months for 1 year.
7. Your concept should not violate any copy right acts or infringement.
8. Copy rights of the product developed will remain with Bluw.
9. Employees and immediate family of Bluw ltd, Bluw Inc and Bluw Group are not allowed to participate.
10. Competition closes by 15th December 2008.

Disclaimer: As we generate ideas on a fulltime basis we cannot guarantee that we have not previously conceived of an idea similar in nature to yours. If we have done so, and are planning to release a commercial product based on this idea, we will provide proof of this concept to you. In doing so your concept will no longer meet the entry criteria (i.e. “unique”) and will be automatically withdrawn from the competition. There is no appeal process, the decision of Bluw management is final. No prize money or royalty will be paid out on ideas that have been classified as previously conceived
